Your Role as a Coordinator (OSHC)

As the OSHC Coordinator at St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School, you’ll serve as the heartbeat of the service. In this full-time, term-time position, your leadership will directly influence the quality and consistency of care offered before and after school hours.

You’ll take on the legal and practical responsibilities of being the “Responsible Person” on-site. That means you’ll oversee daily service operations, implement engaging and age-appropriate programming, maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and ensure the children in your care are happy, safe and supported at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• A Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently enrolled and studying toward this).

• Prior experience in a leadership position within an OSHC or early learning setting.

• A valid NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one prior to employment).

• Child Protection Training that meets current regulatory requirements.

• Certified and up-to-date First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificates.

• A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate to support best practices in handling meals and snacks.
