Role Overview: Full-Time Farm Hand

This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take on a diverse range of farm activities, including machinery operation, crop production, irrigation monitoring and some livestock work. You’ll be joining a dynamic and dedicated farm crew that supports a variety of operations throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Farm Hand with Top Field Farming, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and will evolve throughout the agricultural calendar. The core responsibilities include:

1. Operation of Farm Machinery

• Tractors (with GPS guidance systems)

• Planters and seeders for sowing crops

• Crop sprayers for chemical application

2. Pivot Irrigation Operation and Maintenance

You will:

Previous exposure to pivot and drip irrigation systems is highly desirable.

3. Machinery Servicing and Basic Mechanical Repairs

6. Livestock Assistance (Occasional)
